Application
Early 2018 we embarked on an ambitious attic truss design, spanning across a large new build, high specification dormer bungalow, built using an Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) system. ICF systems offer high performing U values ideal for Passivhaus, are quicker than conventional building methods and dimensionally more precise.
Great care was taken in surveying the property, designing and engineering the roof and floor to accommodate multiple dormer roofs, roof lights and a large gallery landing area. The design also incorporated a metal web floor system for superior strength and performance. Our truss design presented the client with an enormous 1’646 square feet of habitable space within the roof.
Materials Supplied
